This is the 5th edition of guide to the Firth of Clyde and west coast of Scotland, neighbouring the Crinan Canal. This edition has been thoroughly updated. In this edition, the text is fully revised, including a new survey by Jon Hallam and Randal Coe of Loch Tarbert, Cumhann Beag to the Top Pool which provides an exceptionally clear picture of the arrangement of the leading marks. The amended plans show changes particularly the buoyage and harbour developments since the last edition, and many new aerial photographs make this an unrivaled purchase for anyone cruising the varied and beautiful area of Scotland's west coast. Martin Lawrence, who has spent many years sailing on the West Coast of Scotland, is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Navigation. He is well-known as the author of The Yachtman's Pilots to the West Coast of Scotland and has contributed to Yachting Monthly and the yachting press in Scotland.
